The 185 Club proudly takes its name from the Lodge of Tranquillity No. 185, a distinguished Lodge consecrated centuries ago and whose Masonic legacy has given rise to an extended family of Lodges across the English Constitution. From the earliest foundations through the Lodge of Tranquillity, to the diverse and vibrant Lodges that today trace their roots to that original light, our shared ancestry forms the cornerstone of our union.
Rekindling Bonds
Born out of a sincere desire to rekindle the deep fraternal bonds that tie us together, the 185 Club stands as a new chapter in our collective story. We believe in doing more together — socially, fraternally, and charitably — strengthening not only our own ties but our commitment to the communities we serve.

Our Mission
To rekindle and strengthen the bonds of fraternity among the extended family of Lodges descending from the Lodge of Tranquillity No. 185, by fostering fellowship, charitable endeavour, and social unity, rooted firmly in the principles of Masonic truth, relief and brotherly love.
Vision
To create a living network of Masonic Lodges and Brethren, bound by shared ancestry and collective purpose, working together to enrich our communities, support one another, and preserve the spirit of fraternity for future generations.
